Chesed

Chesed: “In the Hebrew language those two things [love and loyalty] are expressed in only one word, chesed, a lovely word. We have no English word that covers both meanings. Our English word ‘love’ is often so debased that it does not carry anything of loyalty in it. But the Hebrew word means loyal love, a love that never lets anybody go.

Do you know why we use a ring in marriage?
