Party time in Heaven

On Monday, Tarryn shared in Chapel about how she felt led to go to college earlier than her usual time. She said she just knew she was meant to be there for some special reason. When she got to college, she saw a group of young people out the front, so she went up to them to see if she could help them in some way. She soon found out that they were all from Thailand, i think she said, and were looking for some employment. They had seen the bookshop in Victory Life Centre from the street and had planned to go inside and see if there was any work available.

Tarryn explained to them that it was a church, but asked if she could pray for them to get jobs. They all got excited and said yes! They were standing in a circle and wanted to all hold hands and when she prayed, they all bowed their heads. Then when she finished, one guy said a joyful "hallejuia!", which she thought was hilarious. Then she told them about the young adults group which runs every Wednesday night at church at 7.30pm and invited them along.

Last night two of the girls rocked up - they had caught a train all the way from somewhere south of the river.... and to Tarryn's absolute excitement and amazement, one of the girls responded to the altar call and gave her heart to God!!!! She was ecstatic and i had tears in my eyes. I was just so happy to witness their turning point and see the fruit of Tarryn's prayer life. It says in the Bible that angels all rejoice in Heaven every time someone turns to Jesus.

Tarryn came and hugged me this morning in Chapel. She was so radiant with joy. She is such a great role model. What a mighty woman of God. All the glory goes to God ;-)
